Launched in October 2025, the Z15GT quickly captured the Malaysian market’s attention with its impressive specifications, including a powerful 149.5cc liquid-cooled engine producing 16.76 hp and 13.5 Nm of torque, paired with a six-speed manual transmission and single-channel ABS.

The award win underscores the model’s widespread acceptance, with Modenas reporting strong demand that saw bookings reach 10,000 units shortly after its debut. By blending the sporty aesthetics of a “supercub” with modern features like full LED lighting and a keyless ignition, the Z15GT successfully carved out a distinct identity, proving that a locally developed and engineered model could stand tall against established rivals and resonate strongly with Malaysian riders.
